Parmesan Panko Chicken Tenders
May 10, 2011 § 3 Comments
Tonight’s dinner was a great one!
I was in charge of the main course and decided to make my easy parmesan panko chicken tenders.
I covered each chicken tender in an egg wash and then transferred it into my panko mixture that included panko, regular bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, a little Cajun seasoning, and salt and pepper. You could easily make any kind of panko/bread crumb mixture you like by adding in your favorite herbs and spices. Next, I transferred the tenders onto a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and sprayed it with cooking spray. Bake at 450 degrees for 15-20 minutes, and then they will be done!
On the side, my mom cooked up some tater tots (old school!) and kohlrabi for our vegetable!
Crunchy chicken!
Don’t be alarmed, I dipped my tater tots in ketchup! I love these chicken tenders because they are simple, delicious, and healthy (no added oils!)
Off to make some tea and watch The Biggest Loser in a bit, goodnight!
